The Kernu manor house was built in 1810-1813 by Bernhard Heinrich Conrad Ungern-Sternberg.
The manor later housed a school, a hospital and a nursing home. The front of the manor is adorned by the Kernu reservoir, and the interior is unique with curtains and furniture from St John's Lodge, a castle belonging to Queen Elizabeth II of England.
Today, Kernu Manor has become a fresh venue for concerts, theatre performances, weddings, seminars and celebrations.
Additional activities: you can learn about the history of the manor on guided tours (to be booked in advance). The manor's 60 hectares of manor grounds have been prepared for an exciting team geo-game. For nature lovers, there is an easy walking trail around the reservoir. The manor is co-operating with experienced team games providers.
Manor hotel complex (90 places)
Accommodation: The hotel complex includes the main manor house and the stables. In total, up to 90 people can be accommodated.
The manor house has 4 suites, 3 deluxe and 9 standard rooms. There are 13 rooms in the stables.
The suites in the manor house are special and bright and consist of a living room, bedroom and bathroom. The standard rooms are spacious and have a large bathroom. Three of the bathrooms have both a bath and a shower, while one room has been adapted for the disabled. All the rooms are furnished in a manor style. Free WiFi is available in all rooms.
The old stable offers more simple accommodation. The stable building also has a small sauna with a vestibule, two bedrooms and a separate toilet. Superior rooms have en suite toilets and a shower room. Standard rooms have separate toilets and showers in the hallway of the guest house (for shared use).
Price: Manor rooms from 95€/room, stable rooms from 55€/room (depending on the number of people staying in the room).
