Sangaste Manor is one of the most important historicist manor complexes in the Baltic States. On the grounds of the manor you can see the castle, the round stables, the dairy, the stables, the storehouse and the water tower, and walk in the dendro park behind the castle.
The magnificent castle halls, the distinctive architecture, the mystical nature and, of course, the fascinating history, combine to offer a variety of reasons to visit!
Over the years, the castle has become a beloved wedding venue, a traditional seminar venue and a destination for numerous tourist groups.
The castle is open from JUNE to AUGUST, from 10am to 6pm, at other times by appointment!
Sangaste Castle represents one of the 21 places worth discovering in South Estonia, marked with the National Geographic yellow window.
The round table in the Sangaste Manor complex is home to a renovated visitor centre and today houses the exhibit "The Rye Earl and the Wonders of the World".
Castle Hotel (32+18 places)
Accommodation open by reservation only (min 32 people): 16 rooms in the Castle Hotel, 32 beds and 18 extra beds.
For large events, a maximum of 110 people can be accommodated.
Prices: The whole house rental starts from 3700€ depending on the season and includes the use of all castle halls and the castle hotel.
